Last updated: November 2026
At LYNG, we care about how information about you is handled.
This privacy policy explains what personal data we collect when you visit lyngagency.dk, contact us or interact with our website, why we collect it, who we share it with and what rights you have.
1. Who is responsible for your data?
LYNG Agency is responsible for the processing of personal data described in this privacy policy.
LYNG Agency is currently in the process of being formally established as a legal entity in Denmark. This privacy policy will be updated with our registered company name, address and CVR number once registration is complete.

2. What information do we collect?
The information we collect depends on how you interact with LYNG.
When you contact us
If you contact us through a form on our website, we may collect information such as:
your name
email address
organisation or company
the information you choose to include in your message
We use this information to respond to your enquiry and continue the conversation if relevant.
Our website and contact forms are hosted through Squarespace. Information submitted through our website may therefore be processed by Squarespace on our behalf.
When you visit our website
We use analytics and advertising technologies to understand how people find and use our website and, where you have consented, to measure the effectiveness of our marketing.
Depending on your cookie choices, this may include information such as:
pages you visit
how you arrived at our website
approximate location
browser and device information
interactions with the website
IP address or pseudonymous identifiers
date and time of visits
We do not use these tools with the intention of identifying individual visitors by name.
3. Why do we process your information?
We process personal data for a few different purposes.
When you contact us, we process the information you provide so that we can respond to you, discuss a potential collaboration, course or consulting engagement, and take steps towards entering into an agreement where relevant.
We also process limited information where necessary to operate, maintain and secure our website.
For analytics and advertising technologies that require consent, we process data based on the consent you give through our cookie settings.
You can decline non-essential cookies and continue using our website.
4. Squarespace
Our website is built and hosted using Squarespace.
Squarespace provides the infrastructure for our website and processes certain information necessary to deliver and secure the site. When you submit information through one of our website forms, Squarespace may also process that information on our behalf.
Squarespace acts as a data processor for certain information controlled by LYNG and may separately process limited information for its own purposes in accordance with its privacy policy.
5. Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use our website.
If you consent to analytics cookies, Google Analytics may collect information about your visit, including website interactions, session information, approximate location, and browser and device information.
We use this information to understand things such as which pages people visit, how visitors find LYNG and how our website is being used.
We use these insights to improve our website, content and communication.
Google Analytics is only intended to operate where the required consent has been given through our cookie settings.
6. LinkedIn Insight Tag
We use the LinkedIn Insight Tag to understand how people interact with our website after seeing or interacting with LYNG on LinkedIn.
The Insight Tag can help us:
measure the effectiveness of LinkedIn advertising
understand aggregated characteristics of our website audience
measure conversions
create audiences for relevant advertising on LinkedIn
The technology may collect information such as the page URL, referring page, IP address, browser and device characteristics, and the time of the visit.
LinkedIn provides LYNG with aggregated reporting rather than information identifying individual LinkedIn members.
We only intend to use the LinkedIn Insight Tag where the necessary consent for marketing technologies has been provided.
7. Meta Pixel
We use the Meta Pixel to measure and improve advertising on Meta platforms such as Instagram and Facebook.
Where you consent to marketing cookies, the Meta Pixel may collect information about how you interact with our website. This can help us understand whether someone who saw or interacted with one of our advertisements subsequently visited LYNG or completed a relevant action on our website.
We may use this information to:
measure advertising performance
understand website activity connected to our campaigns
create audiences for advertising
show more relevant LYNG advertising on Meta platforms
We do not receive information from Meta that directly tells us the identity of individual website visitors simply because they visited our site.
8. Cookies
We use cookies and similar technologies to operate the website, understand how it is used and measure the effectiveness of our marketing.
Some technologies are necessary for the website to function and do not require consent where permitted by law.
Other technologies, including analytics and advertising technologies, are used based on your consent.
When you visit our website, you can choose:
Accept all
to allow all cookies;
Decline all
to continue with necessary cookies only; or
Manage cookies
to choose which optional cookies you are comfortable with.
You can change your preferences later through the cookie preferences option on our website.
Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing that took place before you withdrew it.
9. Who do we share information with?
We only share personal data where there is a reason for doing so.
Depending on how you use our website and your cookie choices, our service providers may include:
Squarespace, for website hosting and website forms
Google, for website analytics
LinkedIn, for advertising measurement and audience insights
Meta, for advertising measurement and marketing
These providers may process information on our behalf or, in some circumstances, act as independent data controllers for their own processing.
We do not sell your personal data.
10. International data transfers
Some of the technology providers we use are international companies and may process information outside Denmark or the European Economic Area.
Where personal data is transferred internationally, we rely on the safeguards provided by the relevant service provider and applicable data protection law, including adequacy decisions or approved contractual safeguards where relevant.
11. How long do we keep personal data?
We keep personal data only for as long as we reasonably need it for the purpose for which it was collected or where we are required to retain it by law.
Information submitted through a contact form is normally kept for as long as necessary to respond to your enquiry and manage any subsequent relationship.
If an enquiry develops into a customer or business relationship, relevant correspondence and information may be retained for longer where necessary for contractual, administrative, accounting or legal purposes.
Analytics and advertising data is retained according to our settings and the retention periods of the relevant service providers.
We periodically review the information we hold and delete information we no longer need.

14. Newsletter and marketing emails
We do not currently operate a LYNG newsletter.
